HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH DIRECTOR
When did you join the staff and what is your position?
Originally, I joined the staff as the youth director in the spring of 2011, but most recently, I’ve rejoined as our part time High School Youth Coordinator.
What is your favorite thing about working here?
My favorite thing about working at WUMC is the comradery and family feel of both the staff and the congregation. Coming to church here is like coming home.
Where were you born and raised?
I was born and continue to be raised right here in “good ole” Wilmington, NC.
Where did you go to school?
I’m proud to be a UNCW Seahawk through and through. Class of ’98 for undergraduate and then ten years later for my Masters in School Administration.
Do you have family?
Yes, I have my lovely bride of 24 years, Christina, and two beautiful daughters, Virginia Grey (13) and Mavis (7). We also have a 3-year-old yellow lab, Whiskey.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy fishing, a little bit of golf, competitive yard games, song writing, and most anything under the sun, outdoors in God’s great creation.
